Speaking of which, I am back in the US. Flew into Newark, complete with Sinatra music en route.

Now I’m in a great crime scene hotel - a Comfort Inn in the old steel town of Bethlehem, PA. This week I’m facilitating AI innovation design and AI Leadership workshops at the Global Village of Lehigh University’s Iacocca Institute… some 55 entrepreneurs from 38 countries here for a 5-week program.

It all seems cool. But this hotel is the stuff of horror movies. The cleaning staff look like they survived fetal alcohol syndrome, and everything about this place makes me want to look for the bloody knives from previous guests.

I am going to drive up and hang out with you.

It was at a slightly higher elevation. If a tsunami ever reached that far most of the town would have been fucked anyway. There was a street closer to the water called "Tsunami View", which I always found amusing.

The A8 is one of my favorite roads I’ve ever been on. Just a beautiful stretch of scenery through the mountains with sea views.

Until then it was exciting but Vingegaard killed it. His performance on this course, makes me feel uneasy. 1'40'' in 22.4 km on Pogacar and 3 mins at least on all the others. In 22.4 km.

It's a postcard highway. You have to be careful, look at the road and not the landscapes.

The one in the direction of Chamonix is also nice through the Alps.

Sounds like you need to book your flight back to land of fine Port and fine gals quick quick.

Oh, it feels like it. Seriously humbling. It's a good privilege knock-down just being here.

And this hotel... It's dark inside. There's just a crime-scene-like feel to the place. The hangars haven't been changed since 1973. The staff were nice and all, but upstairs the housekeeping staff gave me the vibe like there was some chemical accident in town that nobody talks about in public... and don't you dare ask.

This is the America that most don't see. No wonder people vote for Trump.

Portugal tiene fine women? I find that difficult to believe based on what I’ve seen and in comparison with other euro places

I can't speak as much to the nation overall, but in Lisbon, some are pretty primo. I don't feel lacking compared to anywhere else in Europe. There's also a weird thing here where they rock the nerd girl look. Not that they are trying. They just are. But let's just say it's way easier on the eyes than Northern California. But then a lot of Northern Californian women have beards and they aren't even Armenian.

I know exactly where those places are. Such a dump.

At least try to have some fun. There are probably a few decent restaurants nearby to pass the time.

Uh, no. Every restaurant has two items on the menu: fried or covered in melted cheese. The fancy places do both together.

No wonder Pennsylvania Butt-Swell is a thing. Any woman over the age of 25 here doesn't stand a chance.
