Is it normal when you get sick for it to mess with your mood and mental functioning?

I got what I guess was a flu around a week ago. Now I'm mostly recovered physically, but feel like shit mentally. I don't know what's going on. Is this normal?
Dude, welcome to that most debilitating of afflictions after recovering from a rather virulent strain of seasonal hell...

...welcome to Long Offseason.

Same thing.

Is that 3.3% by headcount or by gross tonnage?

Media and counter-media crap is tiresome. A bunch of wankers yelling back and forth at each other claiming that there is only one universal truth and their truth is the only truth. Meanwhile, there are many conflicting, concurrent truths, based on perspective.
You phrased it perfectly and that’s exactly what’s disturbing me. Their attitude is very obnoxious and they’ll write headlines selling the ‘truth’

My son plays football at U6, there are always a few kids who do annoying and start kicking other kids. Tbh I won’t blame the kids at that age, but I find it very distrusting that their parents won’t do or say anything. Today it happened again, paid attention to who the parents are of that kid. Surprise surprise, obviously a fat Karen with legs 5 times the size of my legs. If I had to paint a stereotype mother it would be exactly that

THAT hadn't occurred to me, but it isn't untrue.

I was wondering because in the US, that makes sense and she's a fat cunt. If it's in Slovakia, I can't think that's a norm. I trying to see what the Karen Ratio is.

Plus, he said "today," and it's 1145 AM in the EDT Time Zone right now.

The Netherlands does have plenty of fat Karens. Their dietary habits are absolutely disgusting.

We have fat people too, but we eat well. We get fat by enjoying good food at least.

Tbh I think that Dutch diet is very healthy compared to the USA, but the Dutch kitchen in general is horrible indeed.

Honestly you can probably eat healthy food in most countries as long as you make an effort.

The US do make it especially hard though. I understand the struggle Americans face.

Time makes sense. I've been to Holland.

Compared to the USA the average dung beetle's diet is amazing. What makes the Nederlader diet so poor?

It's basically a lot of processed meat (frikandel for example), lots of stuff with huge amounts of sugar and cheese too.

The older Dutch dishes are probably a lot healthier with a big focus on fish, but they seem to be slowly disappearing.

It’s not specifically unhealthy, diets here exist of a lot of bread and meat, veggies and potatoes for diner. It’s more that Dutch cuisine really isn’t spectacular, Seven lives in Belgium and they’ll naturally have more France influences in their kitchen. I don’t understand why he’s pointing to obese here, he’ll have to clarify that

I always tell the same to my family in Italy; an average Italian family (especially in the south) will basically always eat Italian. If you look to an average Dutch family they’ll eat Italian, Chinese, some Caribbean and Indonesian food along with Dutch food over the course of a few weeks. That already shows the differences.

I just see more fat people in the Netherlands than I do in Belgium.
