So walking along the river in Lisbon, I almost get run over by a pack of crypto bros on escooters on their way to NEARCON. Douche lvl 8. Ferris wheel in the parking lot. They even went to a nearby jazz bar last night to watch the "Jazz DAO" while drinking cocktails in primary colors.
I was really that tempted to ask them if the value of the digital world has yet surpassed that in the physical world ... so I could then douse the warehouse in gasoline, lock all the exits, and torch the entire MF to the ground.

I voted 3-4 days ago.
Nervous election, to see if Sweden going full on racist or not. Country become so violatile and toxic.
But I expect neither of the blocks will gain enough majority to form their own governments and it will lead failed election, temporary governance and planning for new elections few months from now.

How is it going full on racist?
Last elections 3rd latest party, fairly new party in terms of establishment politics (all other parties are ancient), SD, Swedish Democrats, are openly racist nationalists, and "former"extremist Nazis.
Cleaned up their image a little, but still full and flaming racists. The 2nd largest party moderates, are alliance with them, so if they win, the alliance, it will be because big time racists SD have become way more popular.
By routinely and actively saying hateful and discriminating comments and party members who have long history of doing racist acts. Their literal foundation as a party is that of Nazi glorifying extremist group.
this is not a mere populistic fear mongering right wing party that flirts with xenophobia on occasion like other parties . Their whole existence is based around racist ideology. In political debates, they can't even debate health care and pension funds without making it about or inserting bigotry into it.

Right wing or Conservative is one thing. The moderates here are too, and it's no biggy. But when former hate crime nazi wannabes become the established 3rd largest party, then we have failed as a society to address the issue before it became this big.
