Some lonely people on that line probably didn't know she was famous or a porn star. They just see free hugs and want some warmth and human contact.
One of my closest friends studied for years in Japan, and she was astounded how lonely and hermetic like people can get in Japan.
And a swede being shocked about loneliness is something, since here we perfected the art of social distancing and avoiding eye contact or talking to strangers. But Japan is another level apparently.

I’ve learned a number of Finnish jokes here. And they are anti-social and dark like nothing else I’ve experienced.
Things about needing anywhere from 8-15 alcoholic drinks to get them to speak. Staring at their shoes all the time. Speaking once on a four-day ice fishing trip and being called out as a chatterbox for it.
