Wouldn't call it that exactly but its working so far and has lasted through Covid. She knows I don't suffer the bs.

She's cool and low maintenance but ike Enron said they always need to know you can walk away at any time which is why i'm never getting married.

Another aspect i like is that she has good family, makes friends easy so she's not reliant on me for emotional support etc.

Maybe that's the secret sauce. Find a girl who didn't have a fucked up childhood, loves her parents.

Why can't you walk away from a marriage? I just proposed to my girl a few weeks ago and she agreed instantly. But both she and I know it means a life of no bullshit as the other is a psycho in a good way.

Looks always first 10/10. That's the number one filter IMO.

It's because the gf lives here so I guess it was just natural, and it's not far from London. What is normal England

Don't get me wrong, WGC is a nice place, but as one of the "garden cities", which were basically a social experiment from the early 20th century, it's quite a bit different to a normal English city in how it is laid out. So don't imagine that most of England is like that. One of the best things about this country is the countryside itself and country living, so you get a more suburban taste of that there, but without the character.

I've only been a couple of times but it is quite small, and has a reputation for being mostly a commuter town and not a lot to do there. But as you're only an hour from the city it doesn't really matter. There are many worse places you could have ended up.
