Learning a lot here, thank you.

Question: if using manure it initially will burn the plants as its still hot right? Won't it also burn any weeds/grass that are growing in it similar to your composting? How does composting guarantee weed free in the soil? I will till the soil really well in October then let it sit until spring. That's my plan.

I do have a TON of worms in my soil though, all over the place especially when it rains there are hundreds that get onto my driveway lol
That’s a nitrogen burn and doesn’t really seem to effect the seeds in the same way. There are actually hard coated seeds that have to pass through a digestive system before becoming viable to germinate lol. I read an article years ago that said manure can contain up to 75,000 seeds a ton. Which is wild. Lots of ways to deal with that though. Best is hot composting. It kills most weed seeds at a certain temperature (which is how that sea soil does it).

You don’t wanna be able to run your own little homegrown ayahuasca ceremonies at Casa Hustini?

Some of the first soil I got for my garden was full of poppy seeds. Had no idea at first, but they were opium poppies lol
lol that's awesome

you should see my garden now...I pulled most of the veggies out as the season is coming to a close and there is about 6 inches of manure in there now LOLOL

Eggs are great, chicken meat too for that matter, but I find those beady-eyed, pea-brained little fuckers annoying lol. And chickens coops are gross.
The eggs are amazing, not gonna lie, much better than store bought and we get about 12-15 a week from these little fuckers but I just shelled out 20k for a new patio and they keep shitting on it

I make the wife clean the coop.

They are fun to pet, but they are a mess.
