They are. I guess it sounds like fun to an outsider, but when flirting and seduction are very real aspects of your everyday job it becomes exhausting real quick.

The SJW thing is kind of bizarro to me. To the degree when I notice it on social media, it's like that's all that someone can talk about. It's like a cancer that takes over their brain and they become this one-dimensional facsimile of their former selves.
Sometimes if I am on social media, and I am curious, I like scrolling through their timelines and trying to see if there was some life trauma that caused them to go off the rails.

Lol, I don't know, man. Maybe I'm naive. I understand that who you know matters. I just didn't get full scale of what it means to work in a field dominated by women. Most think I'm some sort of pretty boy though and I'm starting to use it as an advantage. As horrible as it sounds.

As annoying as they are, I much prefer them to those on the other side of the spectrum. One side is at least somewhat well-intentioned and harmless (except to themselves), meanwhile antivax conspiracy theorists that think "demonrats" eat babies can legitimately be harmful to society.

If women can do it, you can too. Take every advantage you can, it sucks not having them. It's not like you're hurting anyone else anyway and you're still obviously more than competent in your field regardless.

Social media is designed to be insular and reinforce already held beliefs, that's what generates clicks and ad revenue for them. I'd put it more down to which circle you fall into, often times you'll get people with no exposure to the "other side," but both exist on all platforms. It's...interesting when you see both at the same time.
What brought that on was coming across a post from a pro climber promoting “plant-based diets” whether vegan/vegetarian/eating smaller amounts of meat. It was basically just a post saying diet is a spectrum and not everyone has to be a strict vegan but eating a little less meat is good for the planet and your health. And fair enough. I’m okay with that, but then moronic vegans come on saying eating any meat at all means you have zero empathy, support animal torture, and are a monster, mass murdering animals lol.
And then a couple vegan SJWs start a little “who is the most woke” party to say that while all white people should definitely not be allowed to eat meat, we should all respect the cultural importance of meat and hunting to First Nations people and support their aboriginal cultural right to eat meat.
