It's so fucking expensive here in Finland. You pay taxes when you buy it, you pay taxes for using it (yes, this is true) and of course taking care of it is expensive too. You don't have to worry any of those things if you drive company's car.

Owning a car in this communist country have been made indeed a pain in the ass.
imagine, in Denmark you pay ~100% of your car's value only for registration tax. On top of it you pay 25% VAT and foooking green tax depending on your emissions.

In Germany, thanks to car lobby it costs 27€ to register your car :baus:

Public transportation in the US is ass and everything is spread out. did you actually not know that or are you being a cunt for no reason?
Yeah but where did that come from.

Also, not true in every instance. In some cities it's prolly less cumbersome not owning a car.

Where I live you defo need one though.

What’s wrong with the Leaf? I have a friend who really likes his Leaf... had no problems at all with it. Anecdotal, yes, but are there issues with it typically?
no, I just prefer the fusion because it has a slightly lower price point for a more loaded model and looks less like an electric car.

70% of my projects are charging station installs so Im a huge proponent of ev’s no matter the brand.

Yeah, don't listen to Kyle. If you live in the city, you don't need a car. Both my roommates and neighbors don't have cars.

The problem with not having a car in the city is that it limits what you can do on the weekend. When I lived in the city I was driving out of it every weekend to go climbing, surfing, hiking, etc. Would have been impossible without a car.
True but with drive shares that’s not so much of a problem these days

40k€ cuckbox with a top speed of 150 kph and a range of 160km :shifty:

Big fan of EVs but usable ones, with proper engines and ranges (like the Model S) are still very expensive. In ICE world that kind of money buys you a real nice middle class sedan that doesnt fall apart if you are trying to overtake a Ford Transit.

this. i commute ~110 km 2-4 times weekly. gimme an ev that rivals a proper ice car for that kind of usage and wouldn't cost 50k € like a used tesla.
