Right now it's the only alternative we have.

She went back to England a few months ago to finish Uni and then she's coming to Bolivia again in september/october. Considering that she doesn't have a job here and doesn't intend to start an actual professional career in Bolivia, the best option for her is to live with me for a while.

It's just gonna be 6 months, then I'll reassess.

No, I don't regret it. But being in an international relationship carries its own problems (logistics, how are we going to be physically together in the same place?).

We have to compromise more than normal couples. She's gonna compromise by coming here for 6 months instead of finding work in England after Uni. Then I'll have to compromise when I go to England.

I love my girlfriend. I absolutely do. But I've always liked to spend much of my time alone. She doesn't get this at all.
