Those are actually incredibly expensive. They do look really nice and I guess they're more expensive cause they are custom made.

A good pair of wood sunglasses shouldn't cost more than 60-80 dollars. And since it's not competitive here yet, custom made models can wait.

In the end a lot has to do with how much you know about certain materials and styles too I guess. For example for me personally suits from suit supply are just fine. But if you really know something about suits I'm sure you want to go bespoke and pick and choose every single thing about the suit. However I think it's only advisable to go for a pricier category if you actually know what you're paying for.

The thing is though the majority of people (men especially) know fuck all about these things. Sun glasses seem a perfect market to let people play 20-30 dollars too much per pair.

It all depends on your budget/wages. Plus peoples mind, as there are majority who like to spend way too much only to be notice and to fill the emptiness that's inside.

Sunglasses are big here. Ray Ban, Gucci, Tom Ford, Prada, etc. And people will definitely buy overpriced shit like that just because of the name, I will never really understand it.
