So I'm watching a newly added Netflix original on Xboxlive and about 30 mins in I get an update on my phone letting me know of upcoming Netflix original series.

I have never got this before or signed up for anything Netflix related on my phone, I am on someone else Netflix account and Xbox live account right now...how does my phone know I am watching Netflix? Is the microphone on my phone recording audio and recognizing that this is a Netflix original?
