I heard it's more like edibles than smoking. You agree?
As an occasional weed connoisseur, I disagree. Edibles are my favorites, smoking a blunt or a bong is second, and vaping is third. Severity wise. But a lot can be down to different people. Either way, you'l get high, Find out what works best for you.

Oh, and dabs are definitely number 1 but they get you stupid high.

I expect a Berlusconi+Lega Nord win.

But with the electoral system and Italy's historically unstable opinion polling, it's really a guess in the blind.
Yea I have no idea what's goin on there really...just that Berlusconi is expected to win which wouldn't suprise me at all.

Lega Nord? Don't yo think Movimento 5 stelle will win?
The five star movement will liekly be the biggest party, but Lega and Berlusconi are in a right wing coalition, and due to the new electoral system the five start movement will have a hard tiem getting anything near a majority; the five star movement have refused to go into a coalition with any other party.

Eazy... interesting to hear how your re-entry into U.S. culture was also a bit of a culture shock for you. Did you acclimate to Mexican life that well for so long? Or is it just remembering getting used to the way we do things here in the U.S.?

Glad you found your creative outlet in climbing and a half-marathon training, though. Gotta have some game into play that makes day after day seem like progress.
It was definitely a lot of both. I lived in a very non white area of Mexico, so I had to acclimate or live a boring life. Also, being the official state gringo meant I met lots,of people who were interested in me. Even though I was well regarded in the community and had adapted to the culture I was still pretty much an outsider. That I think led me to put unreasonable expectations on my re-immersion in the US. But when I got back, over 3 years had gone by and most things were different than they had been. I made the mistake of trying to jump directly back into US life instead of going on a long vacation or something. Time was moving faster in my head than it was in life and I felt that personal and societal expectations were falling short, even though I was doing extremely well according to people around me. Basically, I needed to take a minute and slow things down.

But yeah, things are better now. Slowly but surely I'm getting used to the US again.

Fascinating. Thanks for sharing that. One of my thoughts about considering a move to Lisbon is what the adjustment would be upon returning. I fully don’t expect to be more than an amusing outsider there, but coming back would definitely be a real shift.

I like the slow thinking idea, though. I’m largely out of work right now, and for the first time in my life I feel I’m properly using the time to acclimate to expected changes without trying to just jump in to the next thing. Hopefully that will be a good strategy for me — feels like it, but I’m only guessing.

I've only smoked once like two years ago, I was just curious as to whether what I heard was correct :p
