What about publishing it online?
You mean like an e-book? Nah. There's nobody reading it like that here. And I for one find it very annoying and horrible to sit in front of a screen/phone and read a bigger text, let alone a book.

Several other publishing houses sent me their response about it. The worst case scenario is me not investing anything and earning nothing. The best case scenario is me investing nothing and earning a very small amount of money which I could spend in like... 10 minutes. :D

But if it’s successful, you make a name and the next book will be much more lucrative

I know e-books are quite popular in Europe (and probably the US), but over here it's almost non-existant. I know for a fact that people won't buy that here. Regualar books are just way more popular. So I wouldn't sell any really :D besides the people I know lol. It would be impossible to see it as success, despite the author (imo).

@Dostoevsky

So what's the book, is it a novel or?
A novel set in a Russia in 19th century. Book about love mixed with philosphy and human psychology :D so far I've got 450 pages but I'll finish it till the end of the month and I'll have around 500.

I’m saying even if you publish for no profit, you may end up winning in the end since you’ll make a name.

I'm not sure how that goes. I wouldn't be in a position to say how many I sold etc. I'll dig into it either way and see what's the best outcome.

In the end I might just collect 700-800e (for 100 books!) and publish it myself, get the books myself and sell them myself. It would be kinda hard but oh well. I'll just need to rob some terrorists :)cough: banks).

@Dostoevsky whenever you figure out, how you wanna publish your book im
sold. Keep me updated so I can buy a copy.
If you know my lingo, sure, you'll be the first to know. But thanks, it feels good even reading that :D

I'm still struggling to think whether they'll publish it in Serbian, let alone any other language. :D I think that's a way heavy investment for them. They'd have to translate the whole thing and place it on the foreign market. I highly doubt I'd penetrate it unless it's a world beater. :D

Is it in Serbian?
Da. Too bad, I could sell at least a couple of them here haha.
