I was in Rotterdam on Thursday, which is pretty close to where you are, and it was 25 degrees. Amazing weather

I don't think I'm a good example cause I love summer and hot weather. But imo over 35 degrees is a lot while 40 is crazy. Not that I wouldn't go outside
but 35+ is where I feel the difference. My brother is a whole different story, though, he doesn't like hot weather and he thinks even 25 is a lot lol.
You might have misunderstood me; compared to 40 degrees, of course I consider 13 to be good weather. I wish I was still there, at least until the summer here is over.

I'd say anything over 35 degrees is not meant as a climate for people to be living in.
I think humidity makes everything a lot different. My friend was in Dubai and he says 40 degrees over there is like 30 here. I heard the same about Russia and how more degrees over there is more sustainable. You can hardly breathe here.

There's a point when that doesn't matter anymore. Think Sicily in August, you just get scorched. It's a different sort of heat, but equally unbearable. I thought Las Vegas was pretty much unbearable too (Death Valley too obviously, but no one lives there) and it's pure desert over there.
Yeah humidity is a major factor.
If it's a dry climate, even 40 degrees is bearable, but humid 32+ degrees are hell

You know what, I think weather is really fucked up too. I remember while growing up it was totally different. 25 degrees was really nice and enjoyable but nowadays it's quite exhausting. Also, I remember when 35-37 degrees was just... hot. But nowadays when it reaches 37 you can literally feel your skin burning. I think grass is a good example. 10-15 years ago, during the summer, we always had a green grass and it was really lovely to see. Over the past 5-10 years all I can see is white and dead grass. Kinda scary.
Oh, I agree. I hate winter! Seeing snow is great only inside the house and through the window. It's ONLY good for sleeping and it feels somehow special when you watch tv shows/movies in that period, but yeah, otherwise it's a killer rather depressing. I hate when you see darkness when you wake up while in 15:30-17:00 when you go back from school/work it's already dark. I hateeee it.

Darkness near the equator is not that bad even though it's at something around 17:00, it's actually refreshing, but you wake up in light, winter when you wake up in darkness and go back home from job in darkness is a bit too much. The heat is going down and you can do whatever outside with a t-shirt and shorts - heaven I tell you

It was 23 here today which is pretty nice for May, but it always feels warmer than that because we have virtually no air movement where I live. Even on this relatively small island it's the middle of the country and calm. Houses are solid brick, roads and pavements are not made for heat. On the rare occasion we get a 32 or 35 (did last summer) it's actually horrible. I've experienced 44 degrees in Nicosia and that was ridiculous to stand out in but more tolerable moving around. The city also fudges the figures a lot over there pretending it is colder than it is, because over 40 the council workers are allowed more breaks or time off
