I hate group pictures. Nothing is lamer.
Well, that's why I'm looking for someone who is maybe starting/student but is talented nonetheless and wouldn't charge an arm and a leg.
Yes, it should have some connection with the music. We got something of a main "theme" or concept.
Those examples are more about the idea than about the execution

You hit the nail in the head there. That's exactly why it can't be a group picture. It doesn't have to be something complex, just creative border lining abstract and that doesn't look too modern or has that cheap digitalized look. It has to look "organic", for the lack of a better word. That's why I'd prefer a painting. Now you say it isn't hard, as in "I can do it"?

remember - it's the idea that matters. Tons of artwork out there looks great but isn't exactly good from a technical point of view. Try it, and if it doesn't work you can still pay an artist to do it for you.

Paint on the pic itself and scan it in when you are done. Just play around a little.

Lol those 2 first covers are actually from German bands, so you're dissing your own artists
I did try. In fact I did do some good ones but I don't know. The whole blurred abstract mix of colors cover isn't cutting for us. And nothing resembling trees, forest or anything like that. Nothing that will make people think the green in the name has something to do with "green" tree-hugging, save the planet kind of thing, you know
