I'm at work right now and I just dealt with something I've never dealt with before. I stepped outside at the back of the office to have a smoke at 3am, literally after a couple seconds after lighting my smoke, I heard someone yelling help me help me. I stayed put and kept looking around, then I saw a woman coming around the corner of the mall, she was about 30-40 meters away. I approached, the girl was an aboriginal woman that was homeless, half her shirt was basically off her and her breast were out in the open, she had branches and leaves in her hair and her pants were very low.

I talked to her for a little bit, got her in the office and called the police. They responded very fast and they took her away. Honestly am still very shocked, I'm not even sure what happen and all I can think of is the worse. I chained smoked at least 7 cigarettes in half an hour and my blood is boiling. Right now there's several police vehicles patrolling the vicinity, the woman talked about her boyfriend and they were both homeless. I really hope what happened is not what I am thinking happened.

She also had a lot of bruises all over her. I hope to God that things work out for her asap.

The part that really tore me apart was when I had a first kit opened, she was looking into it like a child and mentioned that her mother always wanted her to be a nurse. Shits fucked up man.

Damn dude, that sucks. But you did the right thing. So don't beat yourself up over something you had no control over. You made the lady safe and got her the help she needed. Be proud, many people would have just finished their cig and gone back inside.

Awful man. Props to you for doing something about it. That little bit of kindness might go a long way for her.
