I'm sad that we still live in a world where borders are so strictly enforced though. Looking at refugees trying to get into Europe and dying in the process I can't help but feel ashamed that we as Europeans are doing this.

But I do agree with you borders....i really do dislike them specially when are own borders haven't been made by us and our neighbors through dialogue but through war and exterior interference, add to the mix that Somalis are very territorial, there you have your recipe for civil war for decades.

Yes, but you just know there's going to be a catch sooner or later. That's the risk of dealing with China. That being said, the vast improvements in infrastructure in subsaharan Africa in particular cannot be denied.
