The quickest and easiest way to kill any attraction a woman may be starting to feel for you is to feel insecure about yourself, to be needy, or to seek approval. When you have the mindset of being desperate to please, you end up coming on too strong, too early. You become clingy. It's like you're begging.

There's an old saying about banks: They want to loan you money when you're loaded already. If you genuinely need the money, then you can forget it.

You've learned a lot from banging maids, I must say.

Methinks your political correctness is acting up again and preventing you from understanding women and men are fundamentally different. Just sayin' ...
They are fundamentally different. But I know a lot of women who are frequently happier by themselves than without the loser guy of the moment, and I know a lot of guys who simply cannot function in this world without having some form of a girlfriend around at all times to keep their own demons at bay. So this is one area where I don't see a ton of gender bias.

Hmmm.. Maybe I'm just biased because it's easier for women to get men than the other way around. Or because of my personality which obviously reflects on the male and female friends I choose.

Damn I really wish I had a tablet. I used to hate it but now I'd love to have one as it's horrible to read from a desktop (and even a laptop).

I'll put it on my list of not-possible-to-get.
I think we have a new Dusan business venture. Get a big trenchcoat and line it with straps to hold tablets. Make a few shady contacts in Hong Kong, and you're set. :D

Based on my experience I generally agree with Seven I must say. Most younger females I know are pretty much like he describes. Not unanimously, but most tend to be extremely needy socially, can't be alone for long.

But I'm not sure the math here even makes sense. In general in the world there are slightly more women than men. If the women are all attached and a lot of the men aren't, you have to presume that a lot of men are merely duping their young girlfriends that they are in an exclusive relationship with them while they play multiple females the same way.

There's a little bit of the virginity paradox here. How are all these females being constantly hooked up while more men are not?

Seriously? You're perplexed as to how this mathematical mystery could be solved?

Also, men die younger, you have to take that into account as well.

To solve it, I have to presume a lot of clueless younger women and two-timing guys.

Sure, people cheat on each other all the time. But I have no evidence to suggest a gender bias that guys cheat that much more than women do. Both sexes are pretty guilty in this regard, and that shouldn't come as a shock.

Even if you subscribe to the subset-of-males-who-dupe-multiple-partners-concurrently theory, you have to presume that women are more socially clueless than guys. And that's one area where I will absolutely claim a gender bias ... the other way around.

Yeah, but you don't take into account that women could be socially smart enough to cheat and keep the relationship going, while if a guy would cheat it would inevitably be discovered and the relationship would be over. This means that if a woman decides to end a relationship, she will have options. The guy however usually ends up in a postapocalyptic nuclear war zone.

OK, now you're onto something I can agree with.

So the male perspective skew is that the woman may be cheating (or at least deep flirting/leading on other guys), but the guy is too clueless to notice and thus thinks she's formally "taken" when in reality she has already been playing the field. That I buy.
