:D the trip itself would be expensive and I didn't mean super reach.

More like a well deserved vacation for a start would do.
But you don't have a job?

Just kidding, mate :D.

You know, I often wonder for how long the concept of "job" will still exist. I know so many young people who struggle to find jobs that I truly believe there just aren't enough. And I'm talking about people with pretty fancy degrees too. Hell, I bet a computer can do my job in 10 years. I wonder if the whole economic system is on the verge of change.

Having too much spare time doesn't help the case, I bet I get more psychically exhausted than majority that does work.

What you say does make sense and it's surely doable to do something like that in the future. However, I just can't see it happening, simply because people are being used as an advantage of power. Sure, some jobs might vanish and technology can take over (especially when it comes to production), but then again I don't think all of the jobs would be wiped off the plate. You're gonna always need a human to push the ON button on the robots, eh.

But world being totally different in the future is something quite realistic (then again, I don't see that hitting our generation for sure). I actually wonder how would people behave. My guess is totally different. Less anxiety but more violence.

If the world doesn't change rapidly we will have worldwide revolts. Even young people with good jobs cannot afford the world as it is. It's do or die IMO.

I wouldn't mind.

Planning to visit Columbia & Brazil when I get rich.

Most likely never. But it's a dream.
You'd make a good despot.

With nearly 7 billion people in the world, and given everything it takes to keep the lights on and to keep making happy smartphones to put games in your pocket, you might make the case that there's need for about 1 billion or so jobs. But what does that mean for the rest of the people?

That's probably going to be the biggest social challenge of the next 100 years, IMO.

And probably far less in the near future. But yes, the social challenge is huge. What are all these people going to do?

I had a strange dream last night that I met Nick and ALC on a bus. Not that I can remember what ALC looks like, and Nick just looks like me, so perhaps I was just talking to myself.

Gary Glitter?

My have you some childhood stories in England we haven't heard about... :shifty: :D
I just shuddered so violently that I think my boss heard it. He was gross before he was a paedo.

You and Nick take the bang bus together?

And apparently I do, who knew :D
