I'm not really sure about that anymore. But it was well within our budget. If I recall correctly the price difference between renting in Vancouver and renting in Alaska was around 600 Euros.

Alaska, like Iceland, is never going to be a cheap trip though. At least with Iceland I'm looking at fairly okay airline tickets.

Oh nvm then  I asked because I naively assumed the price difference was much smaller then that, and that the gas bill would be hefty enough to close the difference since its such a long distance.

Alaska wouldnt certainly be on my list of places to visit in North america, I'm from fucking Sweden :D Not exactly too keen on snowy great forest nature wilderness, plenty of it here.

Are you the kind who likes to vacation in the wilderness?
Depends on what you mean in the wilderness. I like to travel to remote places, yes. If you ask me if I want to camp, on my own, in a grizzly infested area of Alaska with no one else around me, no.

Can't say what the difference is between them. There is a massive amount of wildlife in Alaska though.

I didn't get to see her yesterday. Today I'm gonna wait outside her classroom to talk to her in person.
Just give her space and time to calm down dude. It will help.

Especially more so since what you did is so seriously severe that you wont share it (when you usually flaunt your epic idiocy frequently here). Let her process it instead of being too pushy.

I was thinking about waiting until Thursday because then we'll be forced to be in the same place the whole afternoon.
Best solution? Let her contact you first when she starts missing you, therefore, you will be giving her enough space to clear her mind, as she already knows that you are sorry (right?). If that doesn't work then move on, as you can't force her to come back.

Be strong.
