Not taken any, havent gotten the keys yet (tomorrow if I can be bothered). Just a regular 3 bedroom apartment really. This type of building:

Very close to this big ass church.

Thanks, more of congrats to baby sis, gonna let her live there for 5 months, until after summer (when lease on current one runs out, they are of similar size anyways, but besides location, renting apartment and investing in one is nice upgrade).

Its silly, but its one of those days I seriously miss Ale alot, been watching old clips with him since I got home lol, happy fucking memories.

Why do you need a 3 bedroom apartment?
I like space (never lived in a smaller appartment, would be weird to start now), one of the rooms is smallish anyways, can make it walk in closet/storage type of thing, while other one guest room/computer room, rest as usual.

Me too. My budget is too tight this year to travel outside of Europe and although Iceland is not particularly cheap, I think I can just manage it.

How much money do you think is enough to enjoy it there (one person, obviously)?
Ugh.. One person I don't know. The big problem is the car. As you need a 4x4 to get the most out of the trip it will be pretty expensive. The prices I'm looking at right now are at about 800 Euros for just the car for 8 days, but we can divide it by four.

To make a comparison, I've rented a car in Las Vegas for three weeks for 500 dollars..

Lol wtf, we rented a car in southern spain for 2 weeks just around 400 euros, whats up with 800 for pretty much a week lol.

That car renting dealership in Reykavik defenitely needs some competition to drive the prices down :p

Yeah, but I think it's because cars do risk a lot of damage in Iceland. It's the same in Alaska. I rented a car in Vancouver and drove to Alaska for a fraction of the price of renting a car in Alaska itself. But yes, 800 Euros for a week is pretty ridiculous. I'm used to paying around 500 for three weeks.

That makes kinda sense, but still, hefty How much was the gas bill driving between Vancouver and Alaska? :p
I'm not really sure about that anymore. But it was well within our budget. If I recall correctly the price difference between renting in Vancouver and renting in Alaska was around 600 Euros.

Alaska, like Iceland, is never going to be a cheap trip though. At least with Iceland I'm looking at fairly okay airline tickets.
