Both. System here is different than in the UK (as I understand now, since we have a couple of international cases these days).
There is no distinction between barristers and solicitors for one, everyone who is a lawyer can plead for any court. Which means that even I, as a pretty young lawyer, have already been to the Court of Appeal to plead a case for example.

Yeah I know what you mean. If it at least provided a better quality or of it lasts longer... but it actually means nothing. Nowadays buying expensive means no quality, just a brand name. That's why I enjoy buying rather cheap clothes that 'copy' the big guys as I don't really care if a label says Zara or Armani.
Btw, I did notice that. People are usually like 'wooow he bought a watch worth 5k euros'. But that's somebodys month worth of salary. It's like us mortals buying a 250/500e watch, no? Same goes for a car or even clothes. And even a house.
Now that I mention it... it's such a shit state here at the moment. It's only getting worse and worse. We also have IMF coming with a new deal to fuck us over. Investing in a house here is impossible. Not only we need 10k immediately to even consider it, but monthly paying whole wages for 20 years in order to get a house? Hell, we can even get fired over the night so you basically lose everything. I really... don't understand this world. Sure, I get that we need to bow down to oligarchy but seriously... wtf.

I think these are things that are bound to change. At some point technolgy will make it so that producing a whole range of itmes will be very cheap. 3D printers as well will make specialty items cheaper. Of course I might be very wrong about it, but I can see prices dropping fast.
