A tie is a also a must, Ossy. Preferably dark red, with a white shirt and a brown belt matching the shoes.
I can't say I'm a fan of a jacket and pants with different colors. Should have bought a navy blue suit and wore a brown shoes.

Already have plently of white shirts (and red tie), prefered dark red shirt this time, without a tie. Have brown belts, but will wear a black one instead, to match with the black shoes (which are much nicer then the brown shoes I have). And nah, I'm adamant about no tie this time, as I said, casual affair/party evening so gonna skip tie or bowtie this time (or never bowtie, find it silly, never worn one, tease my friends/collegues who do).

I don't wear black suits because I hate black shoes and brown shoes would look stupid in a black suit IMO.

Actually like black suits or black in general for clothes, but as said dont wear them as much anymore due to it being the mandatory colour for work. But no, I'm not really the overly colourful choices type either (bright colours are a no-no except for certain times in the summer).
