For an american I'm pretty well rounded in world geography. Funny thing Is for an American I watch Soccer (football) F1 and WRC, nobody at my work or surroundings know of any soccer players other than Messi and Ronaldo :sergio: and not one F1 driver just NASCAR, NBA, and especially NFL at the moment I can't carry a conversation in football (NFL) with my coworkers cause I don't know shit about it.
well, they aren't too far off - it's what modern futbol has been effectively reduce to, a drooling midget and a closet poof

NFL is pretty cool. I wasn't sure about it at first but I really started to enjoy watching it. Especially since the Eagles are such a great team.

In unrelated news, Keanu Reeves is 50

Someone sounds jealous because Ronaldo hasn't come out. Your dreams and expectations are all shattered?

LOL @ the Merkel's reaction!! Putin says: "We could use several anegdotes to explain these results. For example, no matter what the action is on the first wedding night, the result is always the same at the end." LOLOLO

I knew a lot of shit about the NFL. I can cite trivia going back to the 70s. But I've slowly "retired" from being a fan, cutting off completely about a year ago.

And no, it's not the domestic violence business. It's the culture of exceptionalism that exists behind the players since they are teenagers that allows them to be criminals while everybody looks the other way. The fans are very much part of the problem, so I'm out. It's the only protest the league left me with.

National Felons League, baby. :weee:

Angie and Sehorn are splitting up
There goes the talk show...

Only in his official human records. There is mention of him in the Domesday Book under the name Keanvs Vampyrvs, so he is at least 1000 years old in his true form.
Oh lord!

I think soccer players, at least the big ones, get away with shit all the time too. Just less publicized.

I think it goes on, but the degree isn't the same. Ronaldo flicks someone's hair and sits out three matches. Joe "Turkey" Jones sacks Terry Bradshaw by giving him a literal wrestling pile-driver move after the ref blows the whistle (you can find it on YouTube), Bradshaw gets a concussion, and the Browns get a 15-yard penalty.

John Terry sleeps with your wife. Aaron Hernandez gives you multiple gunshot wounds. That sort of thing. ;)
