read a whole book for some advise? I'd rather just talk to a few people
Yea, but few people won't do years of research on the topic. ;)

That I'm good at thinking about abstract concepts and I have a certain dexterity when it comes to craftwerk. But the book doesn't tell you exactly what you're good at. It instead focuses on giving you a framework about recognizing what you're probably good at and what you enjoy doing. It's worth a read IMO. Better than the position you're currently in. :)

Anybody else have the problem of not knowing what your particular strengths are or what you're really good at?

I haven't figured that out yet...
I know what you mean.

I consider myself a pretty good all-rounder that could have done a lot of different things and it has made it tough to decide on what to specialise in.
