I hate working the day after a drunken night.
So stop drinking.

Or better, stop working.

 Sometimes. ;) Can we convince you to watch one of them with us? Osman likes them. :D

@Osman, I didn't care for Lost in Austen. That hussy stealing Darcy was more than I could handle. :p Unless of course I was the hussy stealing Darcy...
:D but nevermind you look cute discussing.

You're talking about Persuasion? I might give it a go these days. It would be better if we were in the same room, though! But we wouldn't watch anything so nevermind that.

Right now I think I'll watch Roma città aperta. Or that's the plan at least.

Oh gosh no, if you have to watch one don't let it be Persuasion. The bad acting will turn you off. I will send you a link to the best one when I get home later. Watch it whenever you feel like.

There was a BBC miniseries a few years ago, but that's it. It's not one of her most popular novels.
How was the mini series? Any good?

I have that one for later. I'm home sick today so I have plenty of time.

It wasn't too bad, but I didn't like the guy playing Wentworth.

I was so excited I only just read the line about Persuasion when I typed my answer above. I was so excited I only just read the line about Persuasion when I typed my answer above. (As in I didn't read the rest of what you wrote until now) Tell you what, when we meet it's a deal. In the meantime you can watch the one I send you to get acquainted. :p Tell you what, when we meet it's a deal. In the meantime you can watch the one I send you to get acquainted. :p

I think so far Darcy, Knightly and Lefroy gave me butterflies. Well Lefroy gave me a little more than butterflies. :p I can see why Jane fell for him. And, yes I know some of it is fictitious, but I'd like to think that he would still be dreamy.

That was the point :p put a fan in the situation where they confuse things by meddling the Darcy and Liz love story :D

Plus the hussy is such a gorgeous eye candy :D

Argentina has defaulted :sergio: holy crap, second time in like 10 years.
No wonder why Messi doesn't pay his taxes.

What am I doing right now?

@Dru @Enron @swag @X @Hustini @ALC

I am working in my home office, I have the TV on the MLB Network, fixated on today's trade deadline wondering who the Dodgers are going to get.

What the hell is wrong with me
You're an LA Dodgers fan, for one, Sergio. :p

You two are so.. girls!
Yeah, but they're having a far more intelligent conversation than the rest of us typically have here put together.

Truth be told, the closest I've perhaps ever came to being a gay man was often getting in social gatherings of all girls where I was the only guy.

I'm not saying I was making tea for Clyde Frog or anything, but being surrounded by pretty girls doing "girlish" things at times has its appeals. It's the only way I can tolerate Jane Austin, for one. ;)

Explains why I haven't watched or read it, know too many Austen fanatics, they only mention them in passing.
Really? There seems to be a love/hate with that one, and with Northanger Abbey. Persuasion is her most mature, and I think NA is her funniest. But many do consider Persuasion to be her best.
