At the airport gate waiting to board my flight and I'm walking up to an end chair to plug in my laptop and as I'm approaching another guy is walk the same way and I get their first and (3 seconds earlier id say) and he acts surprised I was using the outlet and says "I was going to use that". EVEN after I get their first.

The guy is so butthurt I got to the outlet first he is campaigning against me to everyone in the gate. :lol:

I'm a little but drunk, but not drunk enough till I just bought a trip to New York in December. We're gonna watch the Giants-Eagles game too.
Should be a fun game :tup:

Nothing will change, the last time they defaulted the debt was not nullified but moved for later periods, the same will happen now I think.

What am I doing right now?

@Dru @Enron @swag @X @Hustini @ALC

I am working in my home office, I have the TV on the MLB Network, fixated on today's trade deadline wondering who the Dodgers are going to get.

What the hell is wrong with me

Oh, and @Hustini

:howler:

I love it when you have 6 people crowded around one outlet getting all twitchy to get the next outlet like a bunch of girls trying to use the restrooms at an N'Sync concert.

Likely to have any practical consequences?

It's not like that have any great international standing to lose after their last default.
Nah, nothing major should happen (internationally) but I assume they will tighten the belt under the guidance of IMF which is pretty much a self-destruct button. In other words, I don't think their economy and living standard will be any good for a long, long time.

Yeah, accumulating debt and moving it ahead is a good way to go :p

@Kate I finally got around to watching Persuasion and I really wanted to enjoy it, but the actors were so bland and flat that I felt zero chemistry from them and between them. It's not a bad story but someone should do a remake.

The film adaptations aren't very good, I don't think :sad: Which one did you watch? Of the two I've seen, I prefer the Ciaran Hinds one, but neither is as great as other adaptations.
