Not knowing Digg makes it difficult for me to relate to the comparison. All I know is that I like that it's about the content and not the users.

Same. Mostly use it to find photos and gifs, I've never used it as a blog and I probably never will. Even finding pics can be painful, for example the Azzurri/Italy NT tag is often full of 15 year old fangirls who only think the players are hot and don't know anything else. And the aforementioned fanfiction. That's the demographic though.

Oh, and my other pet peeve - people who run perfectly good photos through a million filters and then I can't find the original. What is the point of brightening and blurring the shit out of Pirlo's face?

Poiché is like "since" as in "Since we're doing this already..." or "Seeing as we have time to spare..." and perché is more "Because we want to go". It's subtle, but it's there, and probably more of a nuance than anything. Poiché is a bit higher in register or tone.

And to add, you couldn't use poiché in a question like you can perché. "Perché sei andato?" cannot be "Poiché sei andato?"

Gotcha. I really thought both can be used like 'because' and without not much difference.

Why because wannabe artists can "make it theirs" by taking a perfectly fine photo and expressing their unique selves by shitting all over it in their own way. :heart:
