Feeling a bit down. Was just skimming through FB and saw a pic of my friend who was horribly, brutally murdered last year. For a good part of last year I couldn't get over the shock and hurt. This is the guy I had spend a lot of my classes sitting next to. I constantly nagged him to make sure he studied so we could graduate together...meh.

Just wanted to say life is too short. We take too much for granted sometimes.
Ugh, sorry to hear, I know what you mean. I have a friend who died that I had to hide from my news feed because her family took over her fb account and kept posting photos of her every day. I felt like an asshole for doing it, but seeing those photos pop up on my feed constantly made me sad as fuck every time.

Oh, you have like drug lord wealth not too far away?
No, but the city I live in (Queretaro) has the most foreign investment of any city in the world. We have executives from fortune 500s out the ying.

Oh, but apparently the local footie team has connections to Narcos.

Their grieving process doesn't need to be your business.

This is the garden in front of my room, which is separate from the house.

This is my room. All the houses in Mexican cities are built like fortresses. Tall walls built to keep people out. So from the street, they don't look like much.
Beats livin' wit dose Keebler elves in dat treehouse. :agree:

What I find odd is that it seems like every time someone passes away, a friend or family member is able to access their fb account to announce it. Unless I die in front of my computer, no one will be able to get into mine.
