Being on these forums for over 10 years now, if you look at the number of times that a mod overreacts versus the number of times the mod underreacts, shows leniency, or misses an infraction entirely, you're talking a ratio of about 1:20.

The mod thread was always filled with endless bitching about how someone got an infraction but three others didn't for the same behavior.

Damn yo, Europe sucks. :p

Here the barbershops are proper, no booking or any of that nonesense. There's a TV, a fridge with pops/beers and a billboard with little pinned numbers. You grab your number, you sit and wait your turn and you just kick it with the others. The barbers are super cool guys, and often times the other custies are alright too.

The one in my old neighbourhood in Ottawa was the best! It had a basement with a living room type of setting and niggas used to :spliff:
Not to mention the price of a cut was half the price compared to here and it was much cleaner cuts, they never fucked with your line-up. But Edmonton is a young city. If I was ever to own a business it would be a barbershop, with the right employees and in the right neighbourhood, it would be the the chillest job ever and you get decent money of it.
LOL, I said hair saloon for a reason, fancy ones in down town where I live (close by, more expensive, but too lazy to go far for cheaper), not ghetto all male barbershops :D They are more fun, but they are farther away (in another city to be exact, go couple times now and then just for ze road trip of it), and not as good at doing the job as said Hair saloons are. Where you have to book your specifically prefer barber, they are pretty much all chicks too (as are most of their costumers).

I've been to one those before, it's hella awkward! But that's probably cause I just walk in and wait. :p

I prefer the smaller ones personally, once you know the barbers and the regulars (some dudes live in there yo!) you might even end up going there just to kick it and have a beer or two.

I would prefer that too, but as said, nothing close by (in another city). Regular one man neighbourhood barbershops I used to go to all retired, a polish old man for like a decade, retired, a Libanese one retired last year, hence why I'm trying out different fancy hair saloons nearby, trying to find one I'm comfortable enough with to make a habit of. So far havent gone to the same one more then twice.
