Even that is hard to find, they rape you for nothing.

My friend on the other hand is looking for any job and he can't find it for like 6 months.
Do they have apprenticeships in Serbia? In the UK basically they take you on for 6 months on a shit wage, and essentially you do the job of a full employee, even though strictly speaking you are supposed to take a lighter workload and be in training. It's good for employers as they get work done cheaply, and some of them go through a lot of apprentices. But if you do well quite often there are full time jobs.

I know a couple of lads 21-22 who have gone from apprentices to several stages higher, even region manager, in the space of 3 years. There must be something in your field or an interesting one that allows you to get your foot in the door.

There's something like that but it's for 3 months. They pay like 200e per month for such, most of the time, otherwise no money. I knew people who did that and it ended up with the same thing 'you were good, but... we don't need anyone right now, but if some space opens we'll consider you'. When I say this stuff it may sound like a fairytale but it's seriously like that. I'm in no position to pick and I have almost come to a dead end. In a couple of months if something doesn't turn up I'll probably try any shit they offer me..

Today's gonna be a good day. My father got the all clear after what appeared to be a cancer scare, and it's my godson/nephew's first birthday today :)
Awesome!

As someone who recognized my mother-in-law's birthday yesterday, who died of cancer last year, definitely savor the good stuff when you've got it. :pint:

I was supposed to get some job offer which turned out to be nothing. He told me to leave the country basically.

I have nothing left to hope for now.

Oh yeah, the joy...
So sorry to hear that, Dusan. It will sound trite, but there's truth in it: this experience will make you all that much stronger in life. Some of my worst career moments in life under a bleak jobs economy and no leads for many months were some of the most crucial survival lessons of my life that I still carry with me today.

You always wish it would be easier, of course. But life isn't a cakewalk. You'll come to appreciate the better times that much more than if you didn't have to suffer a little for them.

Hang in there and keep your focus on yourself in the meantime. It may not feel like it, but you're learning a lot right now. You're being tested.

Don't sweat it, man. It took me like two years after college to find a good job. It'll come along, don't get discouraged.
