neither do i, for me a job is any remunerated activity that keeps you 'busy' with rules, deadlines, and the fucking christmas party we all choose our paths depending on the following waterfall 1 how much we want to be remunerated then availability of work then how much of that rules shit the work comes with we are willing to put up with. Now if someone has the luxury or foolishness to pursue a passion, for me, it stops being a job, kinda like with @Kate her passion could be reading books she would do it whether she gets paid or not.

it's not about polar opposites, job and passion cannot be interchanged, thus the right nomenclature is to be used. Like i said passion doesnt need remuneration, job does. Before the rise of civilization, looking for food was the job and you just had to do it, it has nothing to do with passion.
