Well she's a secretary of an authoritative figure in the organization, and is quite used to people sucking up to her and kissing her arse. She's trying to isolate another female employee by targeting her with a serious witchunt, I stood up for the latter, and she's hated me ever since. Apparently I'm now being accused of leaking confidential information(I work in HR, so most of our work is confidential) to that female employee.
It really is unnecessary drama, because i'm being caught in the crossfire between two female employees who both yield a lot of "informal power".

She has anything on you? No, then she is just being a bitch, spewing hot air. Bid your time and it will solve itself, if its anything like a former co-worker of mine (who did similar BS), she will screw up down the line and the more relevant people will be fed up, and there will be no turning back from it. Just stop caring about the nonsense. And watch out for the fake tears if it comes to that lol.
Perhaps like Italy's subversively matriarchal society: it's about making the men think they're in charge, telling them what to do without them realizing it, and getting to blame them mani puliti when they screw up.
