still don't see anything good about it
Enjoyment?

Some people just love to smoke. People have smoked since 5000 BC, for various purposes, but the primary one is enjoyment.

Yeah, I think I want to try to get my fiance to switch to e-cigs. I don't want to be a bitch who tells him not to smoke, but secondhand smoke really bothers my lungs. One of the reasons I've never tried it myself.
Secondhand smoking is bad, so yeah, you should try to get him onto e-cigs. Sell it to him in a good way. Dig up articles and youtube vids not only of why he should switch to them for health reasons, but also focus on how close to the real thing (and I'd even say some of this stuff goes beyond that) this can be.

Don't just run into a gas-station and get him one of those cheap disposable ones, though. He will be put off by them and probably ditch the entire concept forever. My advice is to invest in a bit pricier, high quality device immediately, cause what you want is for him to have a "whoa, this is fucking great!" experience the first time he tries it. Will increase his chances of never going back to cigarettes a lot.

Yeah, he smokes because he has anxiety, he takes medication for it too but the combination of both is what works best for him. So I don't want to take that away from him but I worry about both of our health. Thing is he actually has offered to give it up entirely for me, but I don't want that to become an issue that he could bring up later down the line. Besides, I wouldn't like it if he told me to stop drinking for example.

So I'll definitely mention it to him next time I see him.

Then I suppose it is the nicotine which is the stimulant that calms him down, right? Nic has an effect like that on the nerves. I really doubt it's the 4000 other nasty chemicals or the tar in the cig that provide him with what he needs. E-juices for the e-cigs can contain nicotine if you so choose, so .... problem solved, the way I see it :)

Anyway, good luck!

 Well done, sir.

I couldn't believe that when someone in Bangalore told me she was thinking of taking the train back to their native in Guwahati in Assam and that it would take 2+ days. Pictures like that help explain why. :D
Considering she'll have to travel across the country, it's not too surprising. Besides, Assam is a pretty hilly place. Trains would hardly be zooming in such areas.

Only if it's not a blood relative.
Why didn't you say so? Time to call my cousin. :weee:

Now all the international people with broad taste can shake their heads in disbelief, but Indian food is some of the nastiest shit I've ever had the misfortune of tasting.
Your chef must've been real shitty.

i agree, never bought into the hype.
Yours too.

You're not alone, I'm not crazy about it either. Though I'm pretty open minded with food, but most Indian food just doesn't appeal to me.
...and you.

I'm an old fashioned Balkan meat lover, don't put coconut on my chicken.
You must've had Kerala-style chicken. Keralites use coconut for almost everything. Pity.

Man, these fucking e-cigs. They're fucking great! If you get the right one.

Went for this one right here: https://www.joyetech.co.uk/images/ego-cc/joyetech_ego_cc_banner_final.png

No leakage into battery, great design and type A atomizers work just perfect. Ordering tobacco flavored nicotine juices from various places, and they taste awesome too. I get superthick clouds of vapor, and the throat hit is excellent, just like a real cigarette, and you can even adjust the amount of throat hit you want by adding more nicotine or just upping the volts on the batteries, like the ego twist.

It's fucking amazing this stuff. If any of you guys smoke, you should seriously consider these, as you can vape for the rest of your life, get your nicotine fix and the same enjoyment out of it, with no healthrisks involved. Or at the very least substantially less risk than inhaling the 4000 carcinogens + tar that's in analogue cigs.
No thanks. I quit smoking tobacco altogether.

Get him to switch to pot, and he'll quit smoking automatically. Well, it least it worked for me, so. :boh:

Believe me, I've tried to like it multiple times. :D And I live in a town that has a sizeable population of Indians, so I've tried several different restaurants in my lifetime.

He used to smoke pot (before we met) but apparently it made him irritable/lazy so he quit.

:D

I love naan. Especially butter naan with any delicious curry.
A South Indian into naan? Seems like a rarity. Everyone in the South seemed to try to switch me off of my naan habits.

Fuck you Dhee Dhee. You haven't had proper Keralite food until you had food from a proper Malabar restaurant.
Though Malabar paratha did convert me big time. :lick:
