I quit a year ago cos I was tired of my old job, plus I was having something along the lines of an existential crisis. So needed time to resolve that.

The job was monotonous issue analysis. It just felt so trivial at that time. I wanted something more interesting. More fulfilling.

Partially. It's an ongoing process.

Not too mad. But I had very few expenses, thus a lot of savings. It came in handy during the past year. Gonna make a lot more from this new gig, although I'll have to pay off some debts in the first few months.
