I'm kinda with Kyle on this one. Don't get me wrong -- I love Hawaii. Been to Oahu, Maui, and a couple times to my favorite: The Big Island. But if you're not a tourist and instead trying to live there? Ugh.

Having to navigate around all the old people and tourists. Getting island fever with nowhere else to go. Mostly bad, bland food. Horrid architecture (Honolulu has arguably the worst buildings I've seen anywhere in the world, and I've been to shitholes in India and China). Everything with that cheesy tourist tinge wherever you go.
