It's funny, I have the same problem with coding 'languages' that I do with traditional 'languages',

Academically they are thought as a grounding of rules and then built upon, so they are examined structurally, not intuitively. Language isn't meant to be learned Grammar first, that's not how communication as a process evolved. So force be to learn the 'grammar' of Java and I lose any interest in learning it.

I have had zero hours grammar in the English language. Every linguist I've met has told me that immersion is of paramount importance and yet apparently I do it all wrong.

Language is expression, expression is Art, Art knows no structure.

People wonder why there is never any change for the better in the world? Our teachers indoctrinate us into their way, even those teaching critical thinking skills. Genius is creation not regurgitation.
