Unfortunately there ain't much you can do, apart from limit yourself. Just buy a charger for work, home and the car, that's what I've done

I ordered the HD 558 2 days ago. Should get it by the weekend. I opted for the Sennheiser cos the a-Jays incident reminded me how important warranty support and service are. Sennheiser have great support and service here. It was a no brainer considering they were gonna be the most expensive headphones I've ever bought.

Fuck, I might start with 10,000 Days then! I didn't wanna get it from eBay. Besides from what I checked, AT didn't have a good presence in India in terms of service. Didn't wanna take that chance.

I broke my budget when I went for the 558. Never wanted to pay more than Rs. 10k(about $180) for my next headphones. Was willing to go for the M50 only because they were HIGHLY recommended as excellent value for money.

I find they do more harm than good. Just limit background processes, keep the brightness down, turn off any unnecessary functions like GPS, Bluetooth etc if they're not being used.
Btw, anyone using a phone running on a Snapdragon CPU should install the Battery Guru app. It's helped me maintain good battery during standby without being too intrusive.
