Another bomb exploded at the JFK Library
This was found to be false. An 8 year old boy is one of the two who have so far died. Over 130 injured.

"[Update, 8:36 p.m.] Investigators have warned law enforcement officers to be on the lookout for a "darker-skinned or black male" with a possible foreign accent in connection with Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon, according to a law enforcement advisory obtained by CNN.

The man was seen with a black backpack and sweatshirt and was trying to get into a restricted area about five minutes before the first explosion, the lookout notice states."

    115 injured last I saw.

Guys, I just got in from work, has Greg been posting at all?

Just scrolled up, where's your recap, Greg, I want to read it.

Guys, I've been reading reports, just listened to everyone talk, ATF, DEA, DOD, local and feds, I think this could be a diversion. If you wanted to get into why I think that, I'd love to discuss it, but what, albeit little, I know about the US Intelligence Network and the workings of large terrorist organizations, this doesn't seem like an isolated event.

Another bomb exploded at the JFK Library

    That was an unrelated fire.

Greg, I thought you were still there.

If it's terror, who do you guys think it is - right wing extremists?
There is no doubt it's "terror." Any act of terrorism is to cause, terror. This caused terror. Now who it was, I don't know. But a deliberate act to cause terror, is an act of terrorism, of that there is no argument.

Gotta love all the stations calling it a terror attack rather than a bombing. There was a bombing in Iraq today that killed 200, but a terror attack in Boston.
Journalists getting a little carried away with the weighted language these days.

Anywho, I'm just waiting for Wayne LaPierre to tell us that this could have been stopped if everyone had a gun.

Naw, just got back at 1am last night.

I'm just waiting to see who will be named as responsible for this.
Could go like the Atlanta Games bombing... it may be quite a while.

Apparently the bombs were "unsophisticated" in addition to being inefficient.
Thus far they have all the hallmarks of a disgruntled domestic nut job like in Atlanta '96. And an unexploded bomb is an immense amount of forensic evidence. They're probably going to find the person(s) responsible, due to their lame attention to detail, and chances are they're going to turn out to be some nut job pissed off about the gun law debate. Or something equally delusional.

Actually, the less sophisticated a bomb doesn't mean it will be easier to determine it's maker. They will most likely find the bomber because of the video footage available of the site.

Fun fact. This week marks Ruby Ridge, Waco, and OK City.
