I'm far more a Sonoma pinot guy than a Napa guy, let alone a cab guy. But we're staying in Napa at the mother-in-law's joint, so there it is...

Malbac is pretty "in" right now. Cab seems popular as well.

Malbec is cheap but good. People forget that it's one of the core grapes in Bordeaux wines.

My faves are either pinots (Sonoma, Santa Rita Hills, or Burgundy) or nebbiolo (Juve country).

Arizona.

I don't have enough experience to declare my favorite regions, but I generally like Pinot.

I've never had nebbiolo.
