Well nowadays I don't hate that place so much anymore, at least it made me a bit more like a man. But no need to go back there. And no need for me to join the force permanently. So I know how to kill a man, don't see why I would voluntarily do it though. A war in the Middle East or wherever doesn't really affect me so I don't believe it's my war...or European's war. Not to even mention how much it is USA's war.

If I joined the Army, Marines, or Navy it would clear most of if not all of my debt for only a 4 year commitment. So it is tempting on some level. But you're right unless you're an officer they don't pay you much.
