You know that your liver makes the perfect carrying case. :malt:
No way I'm going to tolerate three hours on a bus without a drink.

Have to go straight on to hard stuff as well.

Alcohol not being allowed on supporters buses, it's all vodka mixes in coke bottles.

Not always the easiest thing to stomach at 9am.

Can't happen if they go to anything resembling a normal school.

Even less likely if, like me, they were going to watch football from the age of five.

More importantly, I want to know if a parent has ever successfully shielded their teenage son/daughter from hearing any swear words until they're 18 or so. I imagine that is impossible.
Imagine how awful that would be for the child. What a shock to discover this suddenly when you're 18 and you thought you knew lots of things about the world already.

Indeed. I imagine that unless the kid is homeschooled, is not allowed to socialize and the parents are saints, they'll always be exposed to profanity. So I don't see why parents fight so hard to preserve their innocence. They'll never win.

I doubt any 18 yo would be arrogant enough to think he knows a lot about this world.

Then again, they are 18 years old. :boh:
