That tells me that you're a cheater
Helping fund cancer research = cheating. :agree:

Anyway, is anyone seriously surprised by this? Every single big rider of that era doped. The only surprise is that they couldn't catch Lance.

For me it's like baseball in the 1990's. Fans loved it at the time, now they find out their golden era was "tainted" and all of the sudden baseball has a conscience. :andyandbarcelona:

And a fine TV show it was at that.
Didn't the host end up getting stabbed? Gotta respect that type of devotion to one's craft.

I never got on that Livestrong fad.
Lance was pretty popular, add in the funding cancer research angle and mass conformity of consumption patterns in the US. Then it's not so hard to get.:boh:

I think just applied to the Peace Corps. :sergio:

I'm not surprised that he doped.

I'm surprised that so many people are surprised that he cheated.

But then again I shouldn't be surprised that people are so dumb.

Señor Uniball should've been the one who stabbed him on Cheaters.
Joey Greco is the man. My buddy was a cameraman on Cheaters so I would go to post-prod parties with them and party it up with Greco. He loved his cocaine.

I doubt anyone is surprised - except those hoping that the sport is clean. And hope is for the naive.

Personally, I would find it rather exciting to watch a sport and wonder when the racer will either keel over with a massive heart attack or have his testicles explode mid-race.

I'd like that. Betting on the next heart attack.

Tho I would prefer doing it with fat people living together in a house with unlimited access to food.

Isn't that what fans want? Bigger, stronger, faster? We want our heroes to do superhuman feats, yet we want them to remain average.

Look at the NFL. Bigger players, smaller pads. More injuries in games. Fans can't get enough.
