OK, this is just too fucking bizarre.

So as many of you know, for the past several years (as long as I've been on these forums) I've run a coffee blog/Web site with ratings, etc. As part of that, from time to time, I have conversations with people in the industry -- sometimes over email. One of the guys I had an exchange with for maybe 1-2 emails a couple years ago.

So things start to get weird. He sends me this email about a week ago (anonymized to protect the guilty):

PBS made a film about the World Trade Center Towers coming down. A petition was signed by over 10,000 scientists, architects, demolition specialists, metallurgists, physicists, and many more contesting the governments report of how the three towers came down.

Are persons exercising their patriotic duty asking for an investigation of the events of 9/11 better citizens than you who just want to dismiss the facts because the government said otherwise?

I can’t believe you remain silent in the face of all these facts, what kind of citizens are you? It isn’t likely that anything will happen, because the Obama administration doesn’t appear to want this investigation either. Be concerned that perpetual war, capturing the world’s resources, and silencing criticism from Americans is the policy of the United States.
