Has nothing to do with that. A true auto lover loves the car for what it is. An escape, a momentary diversion. Only BMW drivers use it as a penis extension
Yes and no. I'm excited to see the story told in cinema, however I'm skeptical about the 48 frames per second. This is the highest definition film ever made, the only question is will it be too realistic?
Is the Hobbit still being made in two parts? I really should know, I'm a huge LOTR fan, but this movie has just dragged out for so long I've kind of lost interet.

I didn't say that. I said the automobile it self is part of the essence of man. The connection between man and machine. The control of the power even if its not fast. That's why gear heads like stick shifts. No one wants a slush box automatic that takes the soul out of driving
I heard something about that place on tv, that the guys have to take their shirts off for job interviews? I wonder if they do that with girls in stores...hmmm. I suppose that would be sexist.
I live in between the 'stockbroker' belt and the typical Muslim ghetto
Every prick here has a beamer, if they aren't in douchey suits talking on their iPhones and running red light then they're in Burkas almost hitting trees.

No, they're "dimmed" down from what the actual footage will look like. Jackson's 1st cut apparently looked like it was done with an HD camcorder, meaning the definition was so crisp that it took a lot of the cinematic quality that lighting and what-not add away from the look. Which is why he showed it to a small group of people. He said they anticipated this and were planning on adding a lot in post.
