True that they are designed to be trucks, unlike SUVs. But oddly I've noticed that the drivers are the worst around here. Clueless and slow, like they are all on the job and paid by the hour.

Not at all in my experience. I used to think that, but empirical results have proven this adage: never get in a lane behind a fuck-up truck driver. An SUV can be OK.
