I'm even doing experiments as we speak. One made with my Gaggia lever machine and Mazzer grinder. The other from a more expensive Phillips Saeco superautomatic machine that was sent to me as a freebie to blog about its "merits". Guess which is from which?

This machine they sent me -- it's pretty cool they sent me a $1k machine for free because of my blog. But the thing has coffee extraction times that are half of what they should be, so the coffee doesn't come into contact with the hot water long enough. So you get the result on the right.

The robots are not taking over, I can tell you that much. At least yet.
