I did have a friend fall in once on one of the side canals. Followed me too closely down some steps on one of Venice's many side-alleys, slipped on a patch of green algae, and he was waist-deep (or was that "waste-deep"?) after that.

Life...It sucks. We have our best times as kids, no responsibility or anything. We grow up, get jobs and spend our whole life working. We never actually get much time to live..We just work and sleep.

Yeah, that is true. And that's for the "lucky" ones too.

you don't have homework per se, but you could have a project that needs to be done by friday and no one really gives a fuck if you can't fit it in your working hours.

I still think that the working life is a little better on the schedule than the school one. You generally have more autonomy on an evening off, though it depends on the project and timing sometimes...

Nothing more pathetic than people whining about working. As if 40 hours a week is hard.

I live in the land of the 80-100-hour workweek: start-up-land. :frown: Then add a working timezone that's 12.5 hours off of yours, and you're pretty much working 24x7.
