That' funny. I distinctly remember you complaining about it being too hot a couple of weeks ago. What happened?
I was in sarajevo and it was about 35 degrees in the middle of the night. There is such a thing as too much, but around 30 35 degrees during the day and 20 at night is my preferred setup''

Then people should stop saying "I like it warm" and start saying "I like it warmer". Because noone actually likes it warm, we just disagree about the threshold.

So Maddy, have you lived in Copen all your life? What's your story? :)
Pretty much. Same old story: Meets a girl, falls in love, moves in with the girl, the girl luckily lives in Copenhagen. Getting a degree in economics, gonna work at a capitalistic bank, gonna earn the $$$, retiring early, bying a cottage in Provence and opening a small Boulangerie :)

Why not just skip to the last bit? I love Provence and croissants.

I wish I could speak Danish though.

20 year veteran. But Danish is tough, some people say it's a language without consonants.
To me the easiest language in the world, obviously :) But I've heard from a lot that it's hard to learn to speak. But yes, we have a tendency to 'eat' the consonants, so our words becomes rather indistinct.

Except for all the cars.
I'm afraid we can't convince people to ride a bike.

One time I was going to visit my parents in December. It was snowing and most of the flights in this part of the world were screwed up, so I could only get as far as Copenhagen. SAS put me in a hotel overnight. On my way to the hotel I was talking to the cab driver who looked roughly Pakistani. We tried for a while him speaking Danish and me Norwegian, but he gave up and switched to English, not worth the hassle. :D

It's nuts though, you drive through a town like San Remo and there are cars lined up so tight on every street it's impossible to find a parking space. Last time I was in Saint Tropez it took an hour to get into town because the traffic jam was so big.

Unless you go to Provence in winter.

Which is why I'm going to Languedoc-Roussillon or Midi-Pyrénées next year. Hopefully two weeks in may in a small cottage.
