I realise that italian can hardly be considered as a popular and demanded language... in such case more usefull languages could be French German or Chinese. I do agree with all of this
I wanted to do italian too at part of my study but my school offered only spanish or advance english. Then I said I going to do spanish (and to be honest I learnt a lot in six months), and after I past my driving licences. I am planning to learn italian basic for myself.
I meet an mexican girl and she said to me that is handfull I do understand the basic spanish grammar and that it will be easier to learn italian basic now too.

French :yuck: I had that in highschool and I hated it so much.
German I can understand cos it has simalirities with Dutch.

I can imagine you are not interesting in learning those languages
Italian :heart: I want to speak that since forever :(

Yeah =) And one more advantage for me is that Italian is not such a mainstream as French. But French maybe is more reliable for picking up girls =D
